WHO WE ARE
A bridge between Italy and Boussouma
Founded on 1 November 2008, the A.R.D.B.I. (Association des Ressortissants du Département de Boussoumama en Italie) is the reference point for women and men from the Boussouma department who live in Italy. The department of Boussouma, for those who do not know it, is an area located in the province of Boulgou, in the central-eastern region of Burkina Faso, a fascinating West African country.
Over the years, our association has expanded its network, enthusiastically welcoming the membership of many Boussouma citizens who also live in other EU countries, such as France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Malta. This growth testifies to the strength and cohesion of our community.

OUR MISSION AND VALUES
A.R.D.B.I. is a non-profit and apolitical association, founded on the principles of solidarity and mutual aid. All our members share one primary goal: to make a meaningful and selfless contribution, offering support and assistance regardless of gender, religion or political affiliation. Our strength lies in the diversity and unity of our intentions.
The core of our mission is to initiate and implement international cooperation initiatives and projects. Our main goal is to concretely improve the living conditions of our fellow citizens in their home country. With this targeted aid, we are able to create meaningful opportunities and support Boussouma in vital areas.
Our impact: projects for the development of Boussouma
— Creating job opportunities
We support initiatives that generate employment and local economic development, offering concrete prospects for the future of the Boussouma population.
— Support for other key sectors
In addition to education and health, we are ready to intervene in other areas that appear to be priorities for the development of the department, always with a solidarity-based and responsible approach.
— Improving education
We invest in projects to ensure equitable access to quality education by building schools, providing teaching materials and supporting educational programmes that open new doors for young people.

— Improving health
We contribute to improving health infrastructure and access to essential medical care, because health is a fundamental right for all.
