On Thursday, 1 June 2023, a container full of hospital equipment arrived, sent by the A.R.D.B.I. (Association of Boussouma Residents in Italy).
We would like to thank our various partners, such as the Waldensian Church, Bludent (Brescia), ASU FC (St. Anthony's Hospital), the Ministry of Health and Public Hygiene, the Consulate General of Burkina Faso in Milan, the customs authorities of our country, the local authorities of Boussouma, and all those who contributed to the success of this shipment. A big thank you to the young people from the municipality who took part in the loading in Brescia and the unloading at the CSPS in Boussouma. Thanks to all!

On 16 July 2023, the A.R.D.B.I (Association of Boussouma Department Residents in Italy) handed over the infrastructure and sanitary equipment to the Ministry of Health and Public Hygiene. The handover took place on Saturday 15 July 2023 in Boussouma, in the Boulgou region, in the presence of the representative of the Minister of Health and Public Hygiene, Mrs NANA, and the health authorities of the Central-East region. The building consists of: A terrace, a nurses' consultation room, a doctors' consultation room, a treatment room, an on-call room, an office for the managers, a waiting room with space for stretchers, a corridor, six in-patient rooms, a common room, a waste area, two bathrooms for visitors, four bathrooms for patients, an en suite bathroom for the consultation room, an en suite bathroom for the managers' room, an en suite bathroom for the doctors' room, an en suite bathroom for the nurses' room and an en suite bathroom for the on-call room. A second building (villa F4) will be used for accommodation. In addition to the above-mentioned infrastructure, an important batch of medical equipment was delivered. The cost of this infrastructure and equipment amounts to 110,633,276 CFA francs.
